From the hotel, it is very quick. You can be there in as little as 25 minutes.

If you do not want to walk, take Line 8 from Richelieu-Drouot towards Balard, then change at Invalides to RER C towards Versailles, and get off at Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel.

If you are happy to walk down the magnificent Champ de Mars, there is no need to change trains: simply stay on Line 8 and get off at École Militaire. You will then have around a 13-minute walk.

From the hotel, it is very quick. You can get there in around 20 minutes by metro, but if the weather is nice and you feel like it, go on foot or by bike — this very Parisian stroll is well worth it.

There are two possible routes by metro:

Take Line 12 from Notre-Dame de Lorette towards Mairie d’Aubervilliers and get off at Abbesses, on the charming Place des Abbesses, with its shops and café terraces. You will then need to walk about 400 metres uphill through the district’s picturesque little streets.

Take Line 3 from Richelieu-Drouot towards Levallois-Bécon, then change at Villiers for Line 2 towards Nation. Get off at Anvers. The area is less attractive, but Montmartre is visible as soon as you exit the station and lies about 200 metres due north.

On foot, it is almost a straight walk and takes only about 5 minutes longer. And even if the slope can be a little steep at times, the walk is worth the detour: head up rue Lafitte (as if going to Notre-Dame de Lorette station), where a beautiful view of Montmartre opens up almost as soon as you leave the hotel, with Notre-Dame de Lorette church in the foreground. Then continue up the lively rue des Martyrs, full of shops and local life, to reach, just before Pigalle, the tree-lined, shaded and peaceful Avenue Trudaine, which you can follow all the way to the cheerful and child-friendly Square d’Anvers. At that point, you will be almost there, and Montmartre will come into view once again.

From the hotel, it is very quick. You can be there in as little as 25 minutes.

If you do not want to walk, take Line 8 from Richelieu-Drouot towards Balard, then change at Invalides to RER C towards Versailles, and get off at Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel.

If you are happy to walk down the magnificent Champ de Mars, there is no need to change trains: simply stay on Line 8 and get off at École Militaire. You will then have around a 13-minute walk.

From the hotel, it is very quick. You can get there in around 20 minutes by metro, but if the weather is nice and you feel like it, go on foot or by bike — this very Parisian stroll is well worth it.

There are two possible routes by metro:

Take Line 12 from Notre-Dame de Lorette towards Mairie d’Aubervilliers and get off at Abbesses, on the charming Place des Abbesses, with its shops and café terraces. You will then need to walk about 400 metres uphill through the district’s picturesque little streets.

Take Line 3 from Richelieu-Drouot towards Levallois-Bécon, then change at Villiers for Line 2 towards Nation. Get off at Anvers. The area is less attractive, but Montmartre is visible as soon as you exit the station and lies about 200 metres due north.

On foot, it is almost a straight walk and takes only about 5 minutes longer. And even if the slope can be a little steep at times, the walk is worth the detour: head up rue Lafitte (as if going to Notre-Dame de Lorette station), where a beautiful view of Montmartre opens up almost as soon as you leave the hotel, with Notre-Dame de Lorette church in the foreground. Then continue up the lively rue des Martyrs, full of shops and local life, to reach, just before Pigalle, the tree-lined, shaded and peaceful Avenue Trudaine, which you can follow all the way to the cheerful and child-friendly Square d’Anvers. At that point, you will be almost there, and Montmartre will come into view once again.

It is a direct metro ride and takes only 15 minutes.

Take Line 8 from Richelieu-Drouot station, heading towards Créteil. Bastille station is 8 stops away.

When you come out of the station, you will arrive directly at the Opéra Bastille, on Place de la Bastille, around the July Column, which commemorates those who died in the revolutions of the early 19th century.

You can get to Saint-Germain-des-Prés in 20 minutes by metro.

From Richelieu-Drouot station, take Line 8 towards Créteil and change at Strasbourg-Saint-Denis for Line 4 towards Bagneux. Getting off at Saint-Germain-des-Prés station, you will find yourself right in the heart of the neighborhood, opposite the church of the same name and just a short walk from the famous Les Deux Magots café.

By taking Line 9 towards Pont de Sèvres, you can reach the lower part of the Champs-Élysées in barely 15 minutes, getting off at Franklin Roosevelt station.

From there, you can walk up the avenue towards Étoile and its Arc de Triomphe, or walk down towards the Grand Palais or the Petit Palais, a little further below, or continue on towards Place de la Concorde and its obelisk.

At Franklin Roosevelt station, you can also change to Line 1 to get more quickly to the Arc de Triomphe at Charles de Gaulle – Étoile station, or head down towards the Petit Palais and Grand Palais by getting off at Champs-Élysées – Clemenceau, or further on at Concorde. From there, you will also have access to the magnificent Tuileries Garden.

Hôtel Gramont is located on the Right Bank, in Paris’s 2nd arrondissement. Very centrally located, it makes it easy to reach many Parisian landmarks on foot, from the most iconic to the more distinctive ones. Here are the main ones.

Just 50 metres away, right behind Hôtel Gramont, on the charming Place Boieldieu, you will discover the Opéra-Comique, nestled peacefully within an elegant architectural setting. The theatre turns its back on the bustle of the Boulevard des Italiens, like a well-kept secret.

At 250 metres, on rue Lafitte, heading north along rue de Gramont, lies one of the most subtle viewpoints of the Sacré-Cœur: it offers a striking perspective on Montmartre, framed by the street, with the church of Notre-Dame de Lorette in the foreground. A must-see.

And then, at 600 metres, the church of Notre-Dame-de-Lorette itself, with its façade inspired by Antiquity and its peaceful atmosphere.

At around 450 metres, the Palais Brongniart, former seat of the Paris Stock Exchange, impresses with its monumentality and colonnades. It recalls the neoclassical momentum of a district long devoted to business and major banking houses.

At around 500 metres, the Opéra Garnier is a must-see, a sumptuous masterpiece of the Second Empire. You can visit this extraordinary place by booking on the Opéra’s website. All around it, the Grands Boulevards and the Avenue de l’Opéra offer a concentrated glimpse of theatrical, elegant and lively Paris.

Not far away, rue de la Paix naturally leads to Place Vendôme, one of the most refined squares in the capital, famous for its classical architecture and prestigious jewellery houses. There, you may also take a short detour to The Ritz, remembering that it once belonged to the Dukes of Gramont and bore the name Hôtel de Gramont. At the time, it was a private mansion.

At 650 metres, more discreet yet equally remarkable, Place des Victoires charms visitors with its perfectly circular shape and architectural harmony. Built in tribute to Louis XIV, it still retains a solemn and almost theatrical presence today.

The Palais-Royal is located 900 metres from the hotel. It is one of the most refined places in Paris. We recommend approaching it via rue Vivienne to admire its gardens, lined with arcades and food and art shops. It is a peaceful interlude in the heart of the city, blending classical lines, nature, silence and elegance. In the main courtyard, the famous Buren columns add a more contemporary and graphic touch.

Before reaching the gardens, you will walk along rue Vivienne past the Richelieu site of the Bibliothèque nationale de France, which has recently been renovated. Do not hesitate to make a short detour to admire its vast main reading room and magnificent dome.

Finally, in around fifteen minutes on foot, you can reach the Louvre, its glass pyramid and the Tuileries Garden. It is an essential walk, combining heritage, perspective and the Parisian art of living.
